I've lived in LA for almost three years and on Saturday I finally spotted a famous person. I saw, while grocery shopping, that guy who played Newman on Seinfeld. I wouldn't have even noticed, but someone approached him and asked if he had been in Jurassic Park. Hmmmm. No, I didn't talk to him or ask for his autograph. If I were not socially inept, I would have sidled up to him and said, with utter disdain, "Hello, Newman."
He probably gets that all the time.

I spent a part of my childhood in California (moved east when I was almost 10), and everyone assumed because I had lived there, I must know TONS of famous people. I never saw any in the 'burbs of San Jose. Congrats (?) on your first celeb!
Wow... that's cool. At least your first celebrity was not an A lister. That could have caused a serious melt down. It's good to practice with the small time guys!
When you control the mail, you control...information.
